X Games New Orleans BMX Street

The first BMX event of the 2026 X Games just finished inside the New Orleans Caesars Superdome. The Superdome is the home venue of the New Orleans Saints but this week it's home to action sports courtesy of X Games!
Matt Ray with a big truck drop to a really small wedge ramp. Garrett Reynolds icing to his 19th Gold Medal. You know this is Devon Smillie because his name is on the score board.
There are eight riders in the finals, with each getting three runs and the best run counting for their score. Overall consensus from the riders was they liked the course and it really showed! The level of riding was out of hand but that is expected when the eight riders consist of Jordan Godwin, Kevin Peraza, Devon Smillie, Matt Ray, Felix Prangenberg, Boyd Hilder, Garrett Reynolds and local hero Broc Raiford.
I loved watching every thing Boyd Hilder did on this course! I love seeing how stoked every athlete is for each other after they ride! Garrett Reynolds going up the rail and doing a hard 360 out of it.
I'm not going to give you a play by play for each of the athletes but you can find the replay here and check back here for an X Games recap video. Also, out our friend, OUR BMX, they're putting up some great practice videos! I will say that this contest was one of the most exciting events I've seen in a while. Congrats to everyone in this!
